Unlocking Financial Literacy Instruction:  Engaging Read-Alouds with Sora & TeachingBooks.net 

This session is designed for K-5 teachers to integrate financial literacy into their classrooms through engaging read-aloud books and interactive activities. The workshop will enable educators to explore digital books from the Citywide Digital Library on Sora and resources from TeachingBooks.net, helping them teach young students essential financial concepts in a fun and accessible manner.

Objectives:
-Understand the importance of financial literacy for young learners.
-Explore a variety of children’s books that effectively introduce financial concepts from the Citywide Digital Library on Sora.
-Explore a variety of interactive lesson activities and instructional resources from Teachingbooks.net to reinforce financial literacy content explored in children’s books.
